We empower effective governance through GovTech and CivicTech data products, supporting governments and multilateral organisations in designing high-impact, large-scale solutions that align with public needs and good governance objectives from a welfare state perspective.
We help design and develop both governance and citizen-centric data platforms which enables decision-making to drive impact at scale. We support government insititutions and multilateral institutions as product managers by identifying the needs of the users, either the citizenry or the bureaucracy, as well as the larger good governance motives of public institutions to co-design high-impact at-scale solutions.
PDAG coordinated with the Chief Secretary’s Office, the Government of Jharkhand and the Jharkhand Agency for Promotion of Information Technology (JAPIT) to design and implement ‘Johar Pariyojana Portal’ – a robust system to track progress of various infrastructure projects currently being implemented in the state focussing on bringing in data-driven governance and evidence-based decision making in the government. It will help multiple stakeholders like the Chief Minister’s Office, Chief Secretary’s Office, other secretaries, line departments and district administration to track the progress of the work in real-time and provide updates on laggards and bottlenecks, providing transparency and accountability to the execution of such projects.
The portal was officially launched by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren in December 2022 to commemorate the completion of the third year of the government. It is hoped that the system will aid in monitoring and review of all development work and nudge the stakeholders in ensuring timely completion and delivery of the same.
