To emphasise the need for conservation and the importance and execution of forest rights, we were one of the partners for the International Learning Exchange – Radical Forest Futures, a three-day conclave based on the Forest Rights Act 2006. The event brings people from all walks of life to share their knowledge, experience, suggestions, and victories of their work in improving forest rights and communities.
The dynamic multi-stakeholder conclave, themed ‘Radical Forest Futures,’ sought to empower voices from communities across the globe to highlight crucial issues affecting forest conservation, livelihoods, and climate change mitigation. Environmental activists, on-ground forest leaders, policymakers, journalists, and academicians joined together to bring the trials and tribulations of implementing the Forest Rights Act, 2006, to the forefront.
